The fight between Nikita Tszyu and Benjamin Bommber is in doubt with the Victorian youngster failing to make the weight.
The pair were both set for their sixth professional fight on Wednesday night at Melbourne's Margaret Court Arena, with both super welterweight boxers unbeaten.
But the 21-year-old Bommber failed to make weight on Tuesday afternoon, with no certainty the fight will go on.
While Tszyu weighed in right on the money at 69.85kg, Bommber tipped the scales over at 70.3kg.
With the Tszyu camp demanding their opponent drop the weight by the two-hour deadline, Bommber, who already looked like he'd spent time in the sauna, rushed from the stage.
Sydneysider Tszyu mocked Bommber by pretending to stare off against him while posing for a photo.
Tszyu said it was unprofessional of Bommber to miss the weight.
"He has been bringing all these coaches from America but he can't even make weight," Tszyu said on-stage.
"He's not a professional.
"I'm not surprised - I had a feeling that he would (go over) ... because I've heard that he's fought at super middleweight.
"He's got to make the weight."
If Bommber fails to shed the weight he will lose part of his purse with Tszyu then making the final call as to whether the fight will go ahead.
