This Ugadi, the Telangana State Road Transport Corpoporation will give free ride to those above 65 years of age.
This is one of the slew of offers which the transport juggernaut announced ahead of the festival which falls on April 2.
Those above 65 years of age will have to produce the Aadhaar card, or any other valid government-issued identity card which validates their age.
Another 20% discount on the return ticket will be given to those who make a to-and-fro journey using Pushpak buses.
In another offering, the TSRTC’s cargo and parcel service will give a discount of 25% on parcels weighing up to 5 kg. This is valid from Ugadi to Sri Ram Navami.
