The lawmakers want scrutiny of whether those investments create conflicts in defence procurement.
An ABC News analysis of federal contract records, published on 7 October, found that firms tied to the brothers' investment vehicles, 1789 Capital and American Ventures, have pulled in more than $6 billion in active or promised deals since investing.
