Donald Trump has declared that he can 'do whatever I want' as president and claimed he could have done 'very bad things' to Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden and Barack Obama, in a remarkable Oval Office exchange that has unsettled Washington.

The president made the remarks on Wednesday, 7 October, during an Oval Office event announcing the automatic enrolment of children in Trump Accounts.
