Trump Urges Gun Owners To Vote, Launches Gun Owners Coalition

Donald Trump during speech.

Former President Trump recently spoke at the National Rifles Association (NRA) annual convention in Dallas, where he accepted the group's endorsement and rallied gun owners to vote in the upcoming elections. Trump warned that a potential Biden win could threaten the second amendment rights of gun owners.

The NRA's endorsement of Trump was not surprising, as the group had previously supported him in the 2016 and 2020 elections. During his speech, Trump expressed his disappointment in gun owners who do not vote, urging them to participate in the electoral process to make a significant impact.

Trump and the Republican National Committee announced the launch of a new coalition called Gun Owners for Trump, which includes Olympic athletes and gun industry leaders. The coalition aims to challenge the Biden administration's gun control policies and promises to reverse any executive orders issued by President Biden related to gun violence.

President Biden's efforts to address gun safety through executive orders have been criticized by Trump and the NRA, who view them as a threat to gun rights. Trump emphasized his commitment to undoing what he perceives as restrictive gun laws if he is re-elected to the White House.

Aside from gun-related issues, Trump also touched on topics such as immigration, border security, and the economy during his speech. He criticized third-party candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is seeking to participate in the presidential debates. Kennedy expressed confidence in meeting the criteria to qualify for the debates and emphasized his commitment to addressing key issues facing the country.

Both President Biden and Trump have agreed to participate in two debates scheduled for June and September, setting the stage for a heated political showdown in the upcoming election cycle.
