Trump trails Pope Leo by wide margin in favorability poll

A new Economist/YouGov poll shows Donald Trump 's net favorability at -17, 54 points behind Pope Leo XIV , who has a +37 net favorability.
Comedian Jon Stewart ranked as the second most popular public figure with a +14 net favorability, with several other figures also polling higher than Trump.
The poll found Donald Trump Jr. (-27) and conservative commentator Tucker Carlson (-36) to be less popular than Trump.
The survey also indicated a record-high 61 percent disapproval of Trump's job performance, resulting in a net job approval of -26 percent.
These poll results come amid Trump's ongoing public attacks on Pope Leo, who has criticized the administration and advocated for peace.
