Former President Donald Trump is set to hold a series of events in battleground states this week, in what his campaign is calling 'messaging events' aimed at countering the Democratic National Convention.
The events will take place in smaller venues and will focus on key issues such as the economy, crime, and immigration, which the campaign believes could boost Trump's chances in the upcoming election.
On Monday, Trump will be in Pennsylvania, coinciding with the start of the DNC in Chicago. His speech is expected to center on economic matters.
Following that, on Tuesday, Trump will address crime and justice in Howell, Michigan, while his running mate, Ohio Sen. JD Vance, will hold a rally on the same topic in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
The next day, Trump and Vance will shift their focus to national security in Asheboro, North Carolina.
Wrapping up the week, Trump will host a rally in Glendale, Arizona on Friday, co-hosted by Turning Point PAC and Turning Point Action. The event will provide speakers with an opportunity to respond to news from the convention.
