Donald Trump is set to speak at an event hosted by The Danbury Institute, a Christian group that advocates for the complete eradication of abortion. The group, which is meeting in Indianapolis in conjunction with the Southern Baptist Convention, believes that abortion is the greatest atrocity facing society today and must be ended entirely.

While Trump has taken credit for the appointment of justices who overturned Roe v. Wade, he has not explicitly supported a national abortion ban, preferring to leave the issue to individual states. This stance reflects the broader divide within the Republican Party and the Southern Baptist Convention on abortion politics.
