Trump signed orders banning Canadian dairy, cars, and alcohol from U.S. shelves. Canada’s retaliatory tariffs took effect the same day: ‘Trade scam’

According to The Hill, President Donald Trump put his signature on executive orders that stop the sale of Canadian dairy products, motor vehicles, and many alcoholic beverages inside the United States. The action comes amid an ongoing trade fight between the two countries.

Those bans are scheduled to begin on Sept. 29. Trump signed the orders on the same day Canada’s retaliatory tariffs on $27.6 billion worth of American goods went into effect.
