An eyewitness to the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ dinner said that he does not believe that it was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump.

On Saturday, 25 April, a suspected gunman attempted to storm the White House Correspondents’ Dinner at the Washington Hilton hotel at 8:30 p.m., with shots fired before he was apprehended by the Secret Service.
