Donald Trump and Sir Keir Starmer have finalised a US-UK deal that will slash trade barriers on goods from both countries, but leaves the future of tariffs on British steel up in the air.
While the deal will slash tariffs on British cars and aircraft parts within days, steel is not yet covered by the deal as talks continue to ensure all big producers are exempt from tariffs.
