Trump says US military ops ensure safe passage of 100 million barrels of oil through Hormuz

US President Donald Trump on Wednesday revealed a "secret mission" carried out by the American military to support oil tankers and other commercial ships through the Strait of Hormuz. He said that the efforts have resulted in more than 100 million barrels of oil being passed through the key waterway through 200+ ships.

He further claimed that US controls the Strait of Hormuz, "not Iran".
