Trump says U.S. has reached an agreement to take permanent control of Greenland’s security

President Donald Trump has announced an agreement with Greenland, in which the U.S. will take permanent control of the Arctic island’s security.

The deal comes after months of negotiations between the U.S. and Denmark after the U.S. president threatened to seize the territory by force earlier this year.
