Trump says Iran war will end ‘one way or another’ as he makes new threat

US president Donald Trump stated he will decide shortly whether to strike Iran or reach a peace deal to end the conflict.
The announcement follows confirmation from Tehran that it has received a US response to its peace proposal.
Trump noted that the situation will end very soon, despite having previously rejected Iran's peace offer publicly.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi presented the American response to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian at a cabinet meeting.
President Pezeshkian emphasised that any potential agreement must defend the rights of the Iranian people and be based on a win-win strategy.
