Former President Trump's legal team is being led by a group of highly experienced legal professionals. Todd Blanche and Emil Bove, both former federal prosecutors from New York, along with Susan Necheles, a seasoned criminal defense lawyer with extensive experience in New York, are at the forefront of the team.
Necheles notably represented Trump's business in a tax fraud trial in 2022, where the company was convicted. Blanche, who has a background as both a prosecutor and defense attorney at prominent law firms, successfully had the criminal indictment against Trump's 2016 campaign chairman Paul Manafort dismissed before trial. He also achieved a favorable outcome in the case against Igor Fruman, an associate of Rudy Giuliani, who was sentenced to one year and one day in prison for his involvement in a scheme to funnel Russian money into US elections.
