Trump's debate comment on 'illegal aliens' getting 'trans surgeries' unleash internet jokes

Many claims uttered during Tuesday's debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris caught Americans' attention, but there was one line in particular that took the internet by storm.

At one point during the debate, Trump said that Harris "wants to do transgender operations on illegal aliens that are in prison." Hundreds of viewers found the statement funny and took to X (formerly Twitter) to turn it into a meme.
