Trump reimposes Hormuz blockade, Yemen’s Houthis strike Saudi Arabia

President Donald Trump on Monday reimposed a US naval blockade on Iran and vowed hefty fees for ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz. In Yemen, Iran-backed Houthi rebels attacked an airport in Saudi Arabia on Monday hours after the Riyadh-backed internationally recognised Yemeni government attacked the airport in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa.

President Donald Trump reimposed a US naval blockade on Iranian ports on Monday and vowed hefty fees for ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz, as Tehran mockingly pledged to charge a lower rate for passage through the strategic waterway.
