Vladimir Putin has agreed to a 30-day pause on attacking Ukraine’s energy and infrastructure after speaking to Donald Trump, the White House has said.
The US and Russian leaders agreed in a call on Tuesday that the war in Ukraine needs to end with a “lasting peace,” with further negotiations starting within days.
