President Donald Trump has announced that Trump Medicare checks worth $90 (£68.13) will go to more than 20 million seniors, in a Truth Social post published late on Friday, 2 October.

He said the money would help pay Medicare Part B premiums and come from the Medicare Improvement Fund. Nothing is confirmed yet beyond the White House's own account, so everything should be taken with a grain of salt.
