Former President Donald Trump is currently deliberating on his choice for a running mate as his team gears up for the Republican National Convention next week. Two significant donor events have been scheduled, featuring the vice presidential pick, as per copies of the invitations obtained by a source.
The events are organized by the Trump 47 committee, a fundraising collaboration involving Trump’s campaign, the RNC, and state party committees. The first event, named the “Strength in Unity” reception, will showcase the vice presidential nominee on Wednesday. Tickets for this event range from $3,300 to $50,000, with an option to raise $100,000 for the committee.
On Thursday, Trump will join his running mate for the “Freedom First Event” fundraiser before accepting the GOP presidential nomination. Attendees can purchase tickets for this event at prices varying from $5,000 to $200,000, with a potential to raise up to $300,000 for the committee.
Donors who have contributed or raised $100,000 for the committee are granted complimentary access to both events, highlighting the significant role of fundraising in political campaigns.
