President-elect Donald Trump recently shared an AI-generated image on social media depicting him standing next to a Canadian flag in the mountains. This post came after reports surfaced that during a discussion on tariffs with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Trump jokingly suggested that Canada should become the 51st state of the United States.
The post, captioned 'Oh Canada!' was shared on Truth Social, a platform associated with Trump. Trudeau's visit to Florida followed Trump's announcement of significant tariff increases on goods from Mexico and Canada, set to take effect on the first day of his administration. Trump proposed a 25% tariff on all products imported to the US.
