President Trump’s army parade is still scheduled for this weekend, and without prompting or questioning, he has chosen to share that if there are any people who see this as an opportunity to protest, they will be quickly reminded that his administration doesn’t respect your rights like you think they should.
CNN reports that the military parade won’t be anything that’s been seen in decades. They’ve described the day as “7 million pounds of history on the move.” The celebration of the army has been brewing for about two years to commemorate 250 years of the US Army. But the Trump administration shoehorned a parade into the celebration and fixed the date to fall on his birthday. A coincidence, supposedly.
