With the November midterm elections fast approaching, President Donald Trump has doubled down on his financial pledges to voters, promising each American more money if the Republicans retain control of the House and the Senate.

"If Republicans win the House of Representatives and the Senate in the 2026 Midterm Elections, I'm going to give all Adult Citizens in the United States of America, $5,000." Trump posted on Truth Social on Saturday, reminding voters of the "Trump Dividend" he had first promised them in early September during the Republican National Committee's midterm convention.
