Former President Donald Trump’s eldest sons — Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump — and his daughter-in-law and Republican National Committee co-chair Lara Trump were vocal outside a Manhattan courtroom where closing arguments in a hush money trial were taking place.
The Trump brothers sought to challenge the credibility of Michael Cohen, the prosecution’s key witness, and New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who brought the case against their father.
Donald Trump Jr. specifically targeted actor Robert De Niro, who had spoken to reporters earlier on behalf of the Biden campaign outside the courthouse. Trump Jr. suggested that the trial was politically motivated, citing the Biden campaign's presence at the rally.
Eric Trump expressed frustration, apologizing to the jury for what he deemed a significant waste of time. Lara Trump, on the other hand, urged supporters to donate and promoted Trump’s campaign website.
Tiffany Trump, another daughter of the former president, was also present at the trial but did not engage with the media.
