Trump extends $100,000 H-1B visa fee order for another year

Donald Trump United States White House Executive Order

US President Donald Trump has extended by one year an executive order that requires employers to pay a $100,000 fee when applying for certain H-1B non-immigrant visas, the White House said on Friday.

The H-1B programme allows US employers to hire skilled foreign workers, including technology professionals, for jobs in the country. The visas are generally issued for several years.
