Trump Denies Considering Nikki Haley As Running Mate

Former President Donald Trump has dismissed reports suggesting that former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley is being considered as his running mate for the 2024 presidential election. Trump clarified on Truth Social that Haley is not under consideration for the VP slot.

A recent report from Axios claimed that Haley was in the running to be Trump's nominee for vice president. Haley had previously launched her presidential campaign in February 2023, becoming the first major candidate to challenge Trump. She suspended her White House campaign on March 6 after facing Trump in a two-candidate showdown from the New Hampshire primary through Super Tuesday.
