Former President Donald Trump defended his running mate on Wednesday, highlighting Ohio Sen. JD Vance's strong work ethic and academic achievements despite personal challenges. Trump emphasized Vance's belief in hard work as a key factor in his selection.
When asked about Vance's readiness to assume the role of vice president, Trump downplayed the significance of the position, stating that historically, the vice president has minimal impact on elections. Trump asserted that voters primarily focus on the presidential candidate rather than the running mate.
