Former President Donald Trump recently spoke at the Moms for Liberty annual convention in Washington, where he expressed concerns about the impact of illegal immigration on American schools and children. Trump argued that undocumented students who do not speak English are causing suffering in classrooms across the country.

During his speech, Trump made controversial statements, claiming that migrants arriving in the US are coming from 'mental institutions' and 'insane asylums.' However, it is important to note that there is no evidence to support these claims.

When asked about protecting parental rights and education freedom at the federal level, Trump did not provide specific details but mentioned his opposition to allowing men in women's sports and criticized gender-affirming surgeries.

Trump also brought up the case of a 22-year-old nursing student allegedly victimized by an undocumented migrant. He then shifted the conversation to topics such as the US withdrawal from Afghanistan and efforts to combat ISIS.

While Trump's remarks at the convention were met with mixed reactions, it is clear that the issue of illegal immigration remains a contentious topic in American politics.
