President Donald Trump claimed during a White House press conference that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un used a derogatory term to describe Joe Biden's mental fitness.
Trump claimed that Kim said “very nice things” about him, contrasting this with his allegations that Kim called Biden a “mentally r******* person.”
North Korean officials, including Kim's sister, have previously used derogatory terms for US politicians, including calling Biden “senile” in 2023 and Trump a “dotard” during his first term.
Trump's comments are the latest in his consistent personal attacks on Biden's mental health, while he frequently boasts about his own cognitive abilities.
Biden withdrew from the White House race in July 2024 amid mounting concerns about his physical and mental health.
