Trump made these comments during a call to his campaign's Black American Business Leaders roundtable at Rocky's Barbershop in Atlanta.
During the event, Florida Rep. Byron Donalds received a phone call from Trump, which he put on speaker for everyone to hear. The call sparked discussions about Trump's court cases and conviction in Manhattan. Donalds later mentioned that the group was not expecting Trump's call and expressed his belief that he could potentially be considered for the vice president position.
