President Donald Trump has claimed that his eldest son is paying back Russian oligarch Umar Kremlev for his lavish Bahamas wedding party.

Kremlev, the head of the scandal-ridden International Boxing Association, who has close ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin, spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on expenses incurred at Donald Trump Jr.’s multi-day party on two private islands in May to celebrate his marriage to socialite Bettina Anderson, according to a ProPublica report published Monday.
