- President Donald Trump has warned that the U.S. will continue to “bomb the hell out of the shoreline” of Iran to break the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
- The Strait, a crucial shipping route for one-fifth of the world's oil and liquefied gas, is reportedly under the “complete control” of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
- Trump called for multiple countries, including the UK, China, Japan, France, and South Korea, to send warships to the area to help end the blockade.
- In the meantime, he said on Truth Social, the US would be “continually shooting Iranian Boats and Ships out of the water.”
- He wrote: "One way or the other, we will soon get the Hormuz Strait OPEN, SAFE, and FREE.”
