President Donald Trump‘s disgraceful attacks on the media and female reporters continue. This time, he labeled a New York Times journalist “ugly” and a “cheap rag.”
On Tuesday, Nov. 26, Trump ranted on his Truth Social about journalist Katie Rogers’ NYT story about him, published a day before. The feature, titled “Shorter Days, Signs of Fatigue: Trump Faces Realities of Aging in Office,” explores how the president is showing active signs of aging lately.
But Trump seems not to want to face this reality yet. “The Creeps at the Failing New York Times are at it again,” he said and began insulting the network:
“The Radical Left Lunatics in the soon-to-fold New York Times did a hit piece on me that I am perhaps losing my Energy, despite facts that show the exact opposite. They know this is wrong, as is almost everything that they write about me, including election results, ALL PURPOSELY NEGATIVE.”
The president recently dozed off in the Oval Office
The 79-year-old president was recently seen dozing off during an event in the Oval Office, first sparking conversations about his growing frailty. After the clip went viral, MAGA loyalists came to his defense, citing his tough schedule as a justification. However, his critics pointed out how he used to criticize former President Joe Biden for the same things he is now excusing himself for.
We agree, Trump isn’t as far gone as Biden in terms of his health. But nobody can deny that aging has begun to affect his physical competence. Yet, he presented a barrage of his “achievements” as a counter to the reality. He boasted about his election win, said he “settled 8 wars,” and claimed to have “48 New Stock Market Highs.”
He argued that doing all that “requires a lot of work and energy,” and claimed he has “never worked so hard” in his life. But even if all of his claims were true, it is in no way an argument against what people are witnessing with their own eyes.
Trump called the NYT journalist “ugly inside and out”

After singing his own praises, he soon digressed to insult Rogers, the author of the NYT article. “This cheap ‘RAG’ is truly an ‘ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE,’ he wrote. Then, in his signature lack of grace, he continued,
The writer of the story, Katie Rogers, who is assigned to write only bad things about me, is a third rate reporter who is ugly, both inside and out. Despite all of this, I have my highest Poll Numbers, ever, and with record setting investment being made in America, they should only go up.
In what he probably thought was a mic-drop line, he declared, “There will be a day when I run low on Energy, it happens to everyone… but it certainly is not now.” But even with a dozen more lines like this, he cannot deny what’s apparent to the public.
