He played a central role in facilitating the payment of hush money to adult film star Stormy Daniels, a key aspect of the case. Trump's legal team contends that the information contained in these documents could either support the former president's innocence or be used to challenge Cohen's credibility as a witness.
On the other side, prosecutor Matthew Colangelo stated that the latest federal disclosure only included a relatively small number of relevant documents. Colangelo mentioned that they have a comprehensive understanding of the disclosure, which consists of approximately 300 pages.
