Pecker shared details of the conversation, stating that Trump inquired about the alleged $8 million offer from a Mexican group to purchase a story involving a woman named Karen.
Pecker clarified to Trump that he did not believe the offer was legitimate. Trump then sought Pecker's advice on how to proceed, to which Pecker suggested acquiring the story to prevent it from being made public.
