The driver of a truck was pulled for going over the speed limit while high on amphetamines.
Delvin Roads Policing Unit detected a vehicle travelling 27km/h over the speed limit.
The driver was spotted driving in a truck along a busy road.

"The driver then tested positive for cannabis and amphetamines, while the vehicle had no tax," the official An Garda Síochána Twitter page reported.
The page operates as the An Garda Síochána account for traffic/road safety updates.
Delvin Roads Policing Unit, which is based out of Co Westmeath, informed that the driver of the truck was subsequently arrested for the offences.
They added that the vehicle was then impounded, with a court date to follow for the driver.
