Troy Parrott was on target again today with a stunning volley for MK Dons in their 1-1 draw with fierce rivals AFC Wimbledon.
The 20-year-old Dubliner smashed to the net in the 80th minute, as Liam Manning's side continued their push for promotion to the Championship.
Manning has reserved high praise for the on-loan Spurs striker of late and lauded a 'moment of quality' from his frontman, who scored a late long-range winner for Ireland against Lithuania last month and a delicate chip for his club in his last outing.
“I haven't seen it back yet but all I know is that it was a moment of quality,” he said. "He had good control of it, but I cannot compare it to van Basten yet!
“It was great technique, a terrific finish. I felt we deserved to get something from the game, so it was nice to score in that manner and extend the run.”
Elsewhere, Parrott's Ireland team-mates Callum Robinson and Will Keane also notched goals.
Robinson netted West Brom's only goal in a 3-1 defeat to Stoke City and Keane scored as Wigan beat Lincoln City 3-1.
