MUMBAI: Since joining as the bowling coach at the National Cricket Academy, Troy Cooley, on occasions, has also been given the additional responsibility of travelling with the Indian women's team to assist the bowlers. And every time he has joined forces with them, he has seen a considerable improvement.
Cooley, who has once again linked up with the team as bowling coach for the England and the upcoming Australia series starting with the one-off Test at the Wankhede from Thursday, heaped praise on the pacers and was impressed with the progress of right-arm medium-pacers Renuka Singh Thakur and Pooja Vastrakar.
