Troy Aikman didn’t hold back when it came to ripping on the hapless New York Jets.
And why should he? The Jets’ offense just can’t get it together with Zach Wilson under center, which stinks because there’s talent there with Garrett Wilson at receiver and Breece Hall at running back.
It was during the game that he had some honest words, and afterwards, he said it plainly: “I think they’re a bad team with a great defense. … I didn’t see anything tonight that suggests they’re a playoff team.”
Here are those moments that fans took note of (even though he’s absolutely right):
"For as good as this group is, for them not to get a chance to do some really special things with this team because an offense can't score a touchdown? Pretty maddening."
