BEAUTIFUL South star Paul Heaton is leaving money behind some Glasgow bars as a way of helping those suffering during the "cost-of-greed" crisis.
The singer is one of the main acts performing at the TRNSMT festival at Glasgow Green on Friday alongside George Ezra, Pulp and Niall Horan.
His Twitter account announced he would be leaving cash behind a few nearby pubs which include 226 Gallowgate, The Old Burnt Barns, Lynch's Bar, The Braemar Bar, The Tolbooth Bar and Whistler on the Green.
It said: "Glasgow, as a thank you, and a small amount of help during the cost of greed crisis, Paul is leaving some money behind the bar at a few local pubs near to TRNSMT festival so that some of you can have a drink on him tomorrow afternoon…"

Fans and followers have applauded him for the generous act, with plenty calling him "top bloke" and a "good egg".
Heaton is performing solo on the main stage on Friday but is best-known for being one half of Beautiful South with Jacqui Abbott and former frontman of The Housemartins.
The TRNSMT festival is set to run for three days with Sam Fender headlining Saturday and The 1975 the main act on Sunday.
Other performers across the weekend will include Kasabian, Royal Blood and The Kooks.
