Thousands of music fans will be getting ready to head to Glasgow Green this weekend for TRNSMT Festival 2023.
This year's edition of the popular festival will see legends such as Pulp, Kasabian and The 1975 take to the stage from July 7 to 9, as well as some hugely talented up-and-comers like Joesef, Mimi Webb and Maisie Peters.
Whether you're going just for one day or the full weekend, it's likely you've started thinking about what you're going to wear. And to help the festival run as smoothly as possible, people are being reminded of the types of bags they can and can't take in.
Each day, the gates open at 12pm with the party set to end at 11pm, so it's a long day - meaning you might be keen to take in things like makeup, sanitiser or sun lotion.
But bosses have advised against taking a bag at all unless it's strictly necessary, as they'll all need to be searched at the entrance, which could lead to excess queuing and delays.
However, if you do decide to bring a bag in order to keep your belongings safe, there are a few restrictions that must be followed.
TRNSMT 2023 bag policy
Unless 'absolutely necessary', it's recommended that you leave your bags at home when coming to TRNSMT this weekend.
But those who do need to bring bags are reminded that they cannot be any larger than an A3 sheet of paper, or 30cm x 40cm in size.
Bags any larger than this won't be permitted into the festival, so make sure to measure and double check if you're unsure to avoid it being confiscated.
People who bring bags will need to have them searched when entering Glasgow Green, and will have to queue in a separate lane to those who don't.
As a result, there might be extra delays and lengthy queues, so keep this in mind when planning your day and who you want to see perform.
Festivalgoers are also being reminded that there are no storage locker facilities at TRNSMT, so any bag you bring will have to be kept on you at all times.
In terms of what's in your bag, we've shared some key information about all the items that are banned from taking into the festival.
Having certain items and being caught by security could mean you're handed over to the police, so be sure to check out the full list before attending this weekend.
