TRNSMT 2022 day two has wowed Scots music fans - at least, after they were able to get into Glasgow Green following hours of queue problems.
Saturday's line-up included megastars such as The Strokes, US emo outfit Jimmy Eat World, Chaise Longue rockers Wet Leg and Maximo Park, alongside breakout Scottish acts like Retro Video Club, Medicine Cabinet, Baby Strange and The Snuts.
Edinburgh four-piece Swim School were called in as a last-minute replacement after Years and Years dropped out due to illness - and played to an adoring crowd on the River Stage.
However, the beginning of the second day was plagued with problems in the queues, with waits in excess of three hours reported by punters who regaled their stories to the Record. TRNSMT organisers say they sought to provide water to those baking in 20+ degree heat and apologised.
But some fans are calling for partial refunds after the issues in the queues led to some people missing must-see acts such as Example, Wet Leg and KennyHoopla. A TRSNMT spokesperson said earlier on Saturday: "Our welfare teams are handing out water to those queuing and we're doing our best to get everyone through security and inside as quickly and safely as possible."
Rapper Example gave an exclusive interview to the Record in which he admitted crying after his huge TRNSMT set earlier in the day - because, after 15 years in the music business, he's still going. He told us: "These days most people have two, three years, if that."
Festival-goers soaked up some incredible weather and scorching temperatures as they took in the likes of Prioritise Pleasure star Self Esteem and rock outfit Foals. Some cheeky Scots even broke out in 'the slosh' to the most unlikely of bands - Jimmy Eat World.
Day three promises more of the same, and huge Scottish stars like Dylan John Thomas, Alex Amor and festival closer Lewis Capaldi.
