The countdown has begun for TRNSMT as thousands are expected to descend on Glasgow Green next weekend.
On July 8-10, Glasgow Green will be transformed as headline acts such as Lewis Capaldi, The Strokes and Paolo Nutini take the stage for the three day music festival.
However, festival goers have been warned to expect travel disruption as trains are proving to be unreliable amid a temporary timetable from ScotRail as they tackle a driver shortage and recent strikes from Network Rail forced the UK's rail service to come to a stand still.

While some may be inclined to take the car and avoid public transport, a spokesperson for TRNSMT said: “We’ve been reaching out and sharing messages to encourage fans to plan their travel arrangements ahead of the festival so they can enjoy a much deserved fun weekend of music and entertainment. Anyone coming along should regularly check timetables if they need to use the train network and as always, there are a wide range of transport options in place including multiple bus providers, Glasgow’s subway system, taxis, and car sharing so fans should look at alternative options and plan ahead.”
The standard advice for ticket holders is that they should make their way to Glasgow city centre and walk to Glasgow Green from there - that takes around 20 minutes. There is no allocated parking spaces for TRNSMT and people are reminded that it is surrounded by a residential area where the roads will be closed.
The suggested pick up points are Broomielaw at Kingston bridge, Caledonia Road, London Road and Duke St at Tennents Brewery.
On the official website, TRNSMT advises: "If you are being dropped off, please head for Glasgow Green Football Centre.
"If you are being picked up, we have identified four key locations depending on which direction you are approaching the city. Please click here to familiarise yourself with these locations."
