Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine reunite 15 years after hit BBC show ended

Noughties TV stars Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine reunited for an Instagram video, and the two pals were so in sync they wore matching outfits.

The pair were huge in the early 200s, and known for their BBC programme What Not To Wear, but they went separate ways in 2007 after one of their shows sparked a backlash.

However, the friends reunited this week to speak about Susannah's new memoir, and they couldn't resist a bit of fashion chat as well.

Trinny, 58, shared a 29 minute long video of their duo speaking about Ready For Absolutely Nothing, which began with Trinny holding her hands over Susannah's face, before introducing her friend.

The pals looked delighted to be spending time together, with Susannah saying: "It's lovely to be here in Trinny land. I have walked in looking like a piece of s**t and of course I have had lovely John, in five minutes, and that's the beauty of make-up."

Trinny then observed how the pair were both wearing navy shirts and dark jeans, with Susannah adding: "We never do that in real life... we don't suit the same kind of clothes."

Make-up expert Trinny added: "She's finally in wide legged jeans," to which her indignant pal replied: "I have had these for ages."

Trinny then went on to praise Susannah's book, saying she thinks readers will be surprised by what is revealed.

She went on: "From the outside, lots of people think you had a very entitled life... you never spoke about lots of things in your life."

The fashionista said she was surprised by her friend's candour in the memoir.

Nodding in agreement, Susannah replied: "It's funny how people who know me really well, have known me for a long time, Elton John being one of them, he said 'I didn't know anything about your life before you met me',

After their television shows, Susannah started writing, while Trinny branched into make-up (Channel 4)

"Also then there are people who have read it who come from a completely different background and didn't grow up with privilege like I did, and they all say it's so relatable, and for me I am more proud of that than anything else."

The pair dominated the TV world for half a decade, but split after receiving flack over the over the amount of nudity before 9pm in ITV show Trinny and Susannah Undress the Nation.

Susannah has previously said: "That show was the death of our career because it was crass and not done with the empathy that had made us successful," she continued.

"We won’t work together again, but we speak all the time. We’re opposites in every way but we have an incredible bond."

The pair's 'divorce' - as Susannah has called it - made a huge hole in her life.

"We'd been Trinny and Susannah for so many years. I'd walk through an airport and get recognised, but people wouldn't say, 'Oh look there's Susanna' they'd go, 'Oh look there's Trinny and Susannah,'" Susannah told ITV's Loose Women.
