Trinity Leeds has announced a packed programme of fun to celebrate the shopping centre’s 10th birthday.
The Leeds city centre attraction opened on March 21, back in 2013, and has been a popular shopping destination ever since. A crowd of 130,000 people attended the eagerly-anticipated launch event, 10-years-ago, with a specially-curated performance orchestrated by British fashion designer Henry Holland including a 49ft-long dress as the centrepiece, modelled by a former Cirque Du Soleil performer hoisted high up in the air above the crowds.
Looking to the future, to mark the Trinity Leeds milestone, a birthday celebration will be held for 108 members of the shopping centre’s team with commemorative badges and cupcakes. Over the weekend of Saturday, March 25 and Sunday, March 26, DJs will be spinning top tunes from 2013 to entertain shoppers and there will be prizes given away to visitors.
