Tributes have been paid to a young Edinburgh man who tragically died after going to bed with a cough.
Marius Timofte, 33, from Alnwickhill, felt feverish on Saturday, March 11 and phoned his mum in Italy to tell her he had not been feeling great.
The delivery driver explained that he was going to take some medicine and get a good night's sleep before updating her the next day but sadly never woke up.
