Titanic sub victims Suleman Dawood and his dad Shahzada have moved on to the "next leg of their spiritual journey hand-in-hand", according to their heartbroken family. The 19-year-old business school student, at Strathclyde University, and his 48-year-old dad were on the missing titan submersible that is said to have imploded - with three others on board - after a trip to view the titanic shipwreck on Sunday, June 18.
It was announced on Thursday, June 22, that those on board the submarine are thought to have died. The news has sent shockwaves internationally with tributes flooding in for the victims. Strathclyde University earlier told Glasgow Live they were 'shocked and saddened' following the tragedy.
Suleman lived in London with his dad, mum Christine and sister Alina and was studying in Glasgow where he had just finished his first year at university.
