A teacher killed after a Land Rover crashed into a group of people outside a pub was named locally as Laura Hazeldine.
Laura, who was in her 40s, died after being hit by the car outside Fifteens on Ormskirk Road in Wigan on Friday night, April 8. She was visiting her family at the time of the incident, which also left two men seriously injured, the MEN reports.
Greater Manchester Police said the driver fled the scene. Family and friends left floral tributes at the scene for Laura, who was described as a "beautiful soul taken too soon."
