Flowers have been left at the scene of the tragic death of a teenager while out swimming with friends.
Tributes have been paid to the 15-year-old girl, who died at Carr Mill Dam, in St Helens. Her friends reported that she got into difficulty while swimming at around 12.30pm on Thursday, June 1.
Emergency services entered the water in attempts to find her. Despite their best efforts, the girl's body was recovered from the water.
