Tributes have been paid following the death of a woman found dead within a Lanarkshire home this week.
The body of Emma Baillie was discovered within a property in Calder Street in Coatbridge on Tuesday evening.
Confirmation comes as police launched an investigation into her death and that of 51-year-old, John Paul Duffy, whose body was found in a flat nearby two days before.
A 46-year-old man has been charged in connection with both deaths, which the force say are being treated as murder.
Emma, aged just 26, was today confirmed as the second death during a major probe in Coatbridge this week.
And people have already taken to social media to pay tribute to the former Coatbridge High pupil.
Vicky MacDonald said: "Another life took far too soon!! Well Emma can't believe that I'm actual having to write this, known you since you grew up with my lil sister and then you became like a sister to me and auntie to my kids...
"You never had life easy and although we drifted you've always had a place in my heart and always will, friends till the end my girl love you so much R.I.P."

One pal wrote: "Sleep tight angel another life gone far 2 soon."
Another added: "Fly high Emma you didn’t deserve to go."
"Rip Emma Baillie gone to soon fly high", a third posted.
The tragic news was met by reactions of "Absolutely heartbreaking", and "R.I.P. Emma," also.

Police have confirmed a man arrested this week has been charged and is due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Saturday, April 16.
Officers attended High Coats Flats in Coates Street in the town following a concern for person call on Sunday.
As part of their investigation officers also attended at a property nearby in Calder Street around 5.35pm on Tuesday.
Both deaths were believed to be linked.
DCI Graham Grant told Lanarkshire Live today: “I would also like to reassure the public that officers are working to establish the full circumstances of what has happened and there is an increased police presence in the area.
“Extensive enquiries are continuing into both deaths and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen either of them in recent weeks as we seek to establish their movements.”
